Chasing Clouds

Sourced from the higher elevations of our Estate vineyard above 600m, our Chasing Clouds range is inspired by this elevation, as well as our continual quest for greater heights in winemaking. The vines are low yield, providing intense flavours and even berry ripening. The wines are vibrant, whilst retaining the elegance characteristic of the high elevation terroir.

Sauvignon Blanc

This dry white is a lifted, fragrant wine with pear, passionfruit and lime zest aromas. The fresh, tart and lightly herbal palate finishes with a juicy crispness. Tasting Notes: 2012 2011

Pinot Gris

Pure pear and apple fruit lead throughout. A textural wine, the palate reveals honeysuckle and hint of musk that balances the natural acidity of the variety. Tasting Notes: 2012 2011

Merlot

Opens with lovely intensity of dark berry fruit and characteristic cooler-climate spice. The barrel fermentation contributes a rounded weight and softness, with the finished wine showing the maturity of the vineyard. Tasting Notes: 2010 2009

Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark cherry and lifted blackberry fruit is supported by well-integrated French and American oak. Fine, dusty tannins give length to this essentially cool-climate Cabernet. Tasting Notes: 2010 2009
