Andrew Bilenkij – Winemaker

Andrew Bilenkij is from Orange and is very proud of the rapid, positive impact that Orange wines have had on the world of wine.

Andrew worked as a business consultant in Sydney, whist developing his love of wine.  He then left Australia to study winemaking at Lincoln University in New Zealand; one of the world’s specialist cool climate winemaking universities. 

After graduating, Andrew travelled the world, making wine in Monterey, California; Waipara, New Zealand; Mudgee and the Hunter Valley in Australia, before returning home to make wine at Cumulus.

The 2008 vintage will be Andrew’s third at Cumulus. He brings a passion and dedication to the achieving the ultimate in quality from the Orange region. Cumulus is proud to have Andrew on the winemaking team.
